The City has made significant changes in recent years to establish priorities, improve accountability, and measure success in meeting these goals. Each of the establish priorities are given “key performance indicators” as a tool to measure their progress. The City proposed a five-year business plan as a guide in working towards meeting the goals and objectives, use of our performance management to improve service delivery, and more effectively leverage data to address the needs of our community. See how Kansas City is currently using these tools at: www.kcmo.org/kcstat and https://kcstat.kcmo.org/
